"Your company's service is so extraordinary that I must write to express our appreciation. Called for help early in the afternoon, and a service person arrived shortly thereafter. He worked tirelessly until he fixed our problem. He was very pleasant, polite, and explained the problem, solution, and measures to prevent a recurrence. He also took time to make sure that areas where he worked were clean and neat.
I can think of a dozen ways I would have loved to have spent that money instead of on a plumbing problem. But your attention to customer service is so exemplary that writing that check didn't hurt at all. If only all service companies had such competence and integrity."
